Flashback Friday – NYC Summer Restaurant Week

Time flies it has been a.month since my last post.

I love trying new dishes and a variety of food. Ever since I started working I took advantage of the restaurant deals and specials. Twice a year NYC restaurants participate in restaurant week. I recall that lunch used to be $25 and dinner was $35. Now, for this season’s restaurant week prices for a three course prix fixe meal went up; $29 for lunch/brunch and $42 dinner.

For this season’s restaurant week, which started from July 25 through August 19, 386 restaurants are participating. 296/386 posted menus and I have been reviewing all 296 menus for the last two weeks.

Meanwhile if you have OpenTable or want to take advantage of happy hour specials. Here are my top picks:

For the next few weeks there will be posts on restaurant week meals eaten at restaurants. Stay tuned!
